Students’ families were hosted at the “A Day on Campus with Families” event held for the tenth time this year on Sabancı University Tuzla Campus.
At the event held at the Sabancı University Performing Arts Center on Saturday, April 19, 2025, families found answers to their questions by hearing details about the university’s education quality, academic infrastructure, and opportunities offered from our President and deans. They also had the opportunity to experience the technical infrastructure and research studies on site with faculty information presentations and a campus tour held after the event.
Sabancı University President Yusuf Leblebici, who made the opening speech of the event, drew attention to the point the University has reached in 25 years in his presentation in light of the data and said the following: “We have been saying that we are the leading university of Turkey for 25 years. In many ways, we have implemented an innovative, different education system that is still not available in Turkey for the first time, and we have successfully continued it until today. In this respect, our leadership position is important, but beyond that, we really prioritize quality. We can say that we are the most assertive university in Turkey in terms of quality.”
Underlining that Sabancı University has been a university that has accepted students with the highest base score in the full scholarship category for years, Yusuf Leblebici continued as follows: “In the 2024 university entrance exam, 123 students from the top thousand, 187 students from the top 5,000, and 256 students from the top ten thousand chose us.” He continued his presentation by mentioning the successes of students graduating from each branch and program, both domestically and abroad, and stated that the university is among the top 250 in the world in terms of graduate employment.
After Yusuf Leblebici’s presentation, Vice President for Education Cem Güneri, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Natural Sciences Erkay Savaş, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Social Sciences Meltem Müftüler-Baç and Dean of Sabancı Business School Ayşegül Toker answered questions from students’ families.
In the second part of the event, families attended presentations by deans from each faculty and had their questions about faculty programs answered. The “A Day on Campus with Families” event concluded with campus tours.
